Contractions all day, now nothing!!

I had contractions/cramping all day yesterday and all night. They were all over the place and not really timable...I was able to time some for about 2 hours at about 8-10 min apart and then they got further away. Now I woke up this morning and nothing!!! I am crampy and am losing tons of mucus (sorry tmi) but nothing!! Ugghh this is why I don't get my hopes up b/c I know it isn't gonna be anytime soon.

Any second time moms have this happen and how shortly after did you deliver? I had to be induced w/ my son so I have never gone into labor on my own yet!! Thanks ladies...and happy Monday :)

    Welcome to my world mama... it's so disappointing.

    I was also induced with my son at 38w exactly (pre-e) so I've never gone into labor on my own before either.  I'll tell ya one thing... although Pitocin was rough, it was much easier emotionally then this guessing game I'm playing right now!

    Ugghh I hear ya! I hated being induced...and really hope I don't have to be again but you are right this game she is playing w/ my right now is killing me!!! Do you think it means we are close...or it just means nothing! I swear I keep saying its b/c I am having a girl...she is already messing w/ me :)

    I said the same thing!  It's totally b/c we're having girls, lol!

    I'm sitting here at 6cm and 80% (been like this for 2 weeks!) and NOTHING!  She's just messing with my mind now.

    This same thing is happening to me too. It is totally discouraging! I walked my butt off yesterday hoping that would help things along but it didn't work.  I am still having some contractions today but they aren't as frequent as they were yesterday.

    Hopefully all us ladies in the same boat will find some labor dust this week to help move things along!
