I just saw this on babycenter:

The vast majority of babies sprout their first teeth when they're between 4 and 7 months of age. An early developer may get his first white cap as early as 3 months, while a late bloomer may have to wait until he's a year old or more. (In rare cases, a baby's first tooth is already visible at birth.) Whenever the first tooth makes its appearance, celebrate the milestone by taking pictures and noting the date in your child's baby book.

I thought 7 months was on the early side. So when did your baby get his/her first tooth?

My mom always told me to expect DS to get his teeth way early since I had 2 of them by 3 months, but he just got his first one two days ago!

I didn't vote since DD doesn't have any teeth yet, but we'll be at least in the 9-10 month category, if not later.

My little guy popped out 2 teeth at 4 1/2 months. I was pretty shocked. My oldest daughter got her first tooth at a year and my second daughter got hers at 8 months.

DS got his bottom two at 5.5 months, and then his top four at 6 months!

I didn't think about it, but I guess I should have put an option for not having teeth. Because late teethers will skew the results! Oh well. It does look like I was wrong about 7 months being early. It seems like all the people I know IRL said that their babies got teeth between 10-12 months.
