Sunshine Radian on airplane

Has anyone used this car seat on an airplane?  We will be needing a car seat specifically for travel and liked the fact that it folded and has carrying straps.  However, I'm a little skeptical that it's really as easy as they make it sound.  Any input is appreciated!  Thanks ladies!

    it does fold easily and does have a strap but it is HEAVY. the pictures make it look nice and light.

    The fact that it folds makes it seem like a good travel seat, but it's truly not. I mean, it can certainly be used for travel, but I would NEVER buy it for that purpose. I have one and love it, but I"m actually dreading taking it with us on vacation. It's heavy (the heaviest seat on the market), it's difficult to install in many vehicles and it's not cheap.

    If you want a seat for travel, get a Cosco Scenera. It's only about 8 lbs, easy to install and it only costs about $50. I have one of these, too. Much better for travel and/or as a 2nd seat.
