  Yes. As soon as he latches on my mouth instantly dries out. And do I ever remember to get water before I sit down? Of course not.

  prior to breastfeeding did any of you get thirsty if say dh would play with your nipples. this has always happened to me, even before. i always told dh i hated my nipples touched cause it made me thirsty.

  yup. and when DH isn't home, I just think about water and get more and more parched.

  I try to get a full glass of water when I go to pump. I've just noticed in general I've been a lot thirstier since nursing than I was before I gave birth.

  ha ha ha .. me too.  I never remember to get a glass of water before sitting down to nurse DS and I always regret it.
