Grandview Hospital

I have heard good and bad things about Grandview. Has anyone had any experience there?

Re: Grandview Hospital

  • I delivered there and had an amazing experience. The nurses, doctors and staff couldn't possibly have been nicer or more helpful. Most of my friends delivered there and had wonderful experiences too. And I was in there for 4 days after a c-section without 1 negative thing to say about it. Are you with Stoneridge? Kupersmith delivered me. If you have any specific questions, feel free to ask. I skipped their childbirth classes but took breastfeeding and pain management. I ended up getting an epidural, pitocin and had a c-section.

PS - I grew up in and currently work in Harleysville!

Pretty much ditto this but with Dr. Moscoff. I'll be delivering there again in the future!

ditto this but Debrakaleer from Lansdale delivered.

Although, 2 weeks later I was admitted to the cardiac ward and had a horrible experience.  I'd go back to Abington in Lansdale for anything non-pregnancy related.

  • thanks ladies...I was getting nervous. I scheduled a hospital tour next Saturday to ease my mind as well.

zoieglow - yes, I am going to Stoneridge. I saw Dr. Chmielewski a few times, Dr. Hancock, and my next visit is with Dr. Moskoff.

Liked Dr. Chmeilewski a lot, didn't care for Dr. Hancock because she told us what we were having (we were team green) but I ignored it and pretended I didnt hear it and dismissed it as, she's pregnant (was at the time) and she must be having a boy so that's why she called my baby a boy........ (which she did have a boy)

I liked Dr. Moskoff so much that when he came in while I was in labor I almost cried. It was also towards the end when I was a wreck. But he was my fave, you will like him. Good luck! Oh and Dr. Hancock is nice too but I only saw her once.

MrsH - I didn't know you had heart problems, are you ok??

  • My bloop pressure sky rocketed after Zoey was born.  It was due to the edema in my legs then traveled to my lungs.  It was scary at the time, but all is good now!  Thanks for asking!
