Re: Monster Baby Club

  • Oh! I wanna be in the club! Connor will be 5 mo. old on May 19, and he has always been 93%tile or above for his weight. At his 4 mo appt., he was 25 inches and weighed 17 lbs.

He was so tiny when he was born (7 lb 9 oz, 20 inches). He barely fit into "newborn" clothes. Now he's my squishy love bug!

  • I laughed so hard when I saw this... My daughter has been going up in percentiles every time we go to the pediatrician - she was 7lb 4oz at birth, and at 4 months, she was 16lb 4oz, 93%tile, and 90%tile for height.  Definitely taking after her father, as he is 6'4", and I'm 5'1"....

The hilarious part, though, is that at this moment, my husband is walking around hunched over, because he threw out his back lifting her in her carseat - so she meets pretty much every one of the criteria you listed Stick out tongue

    Welcome ladies :)
  • Oh, I want to join!  I'm not quite over here yet but will be soon.  DS was 9lbs, 3 oz and 22 1/4" long when he was born.  At 2 months he was 13lbs 14 oz and 24 1/2" long (89 and 91%.)  He turns 3 months this week and weighed at home was 14 lbs 15 oz yesterday.  He was barely in newborn clothes/diapers.  He has been in 3-6 month clothes for about a month now, as well as size 2 diapers,

  • I'm sure I can officially join you ladies next week after DD's 4 month appt.  I'm not sure of her exact weight right now, but she was 90th percentile at 2 months for weight, and only 30th at birth.  I've had the "your baby is fat" comments, and she's in 6 month clothes.  Although, I haven't injured myself trying to lift her yet. :)
  • Nate is above. He weighed 17lbs even, and is 27 in long, as of his 4 month apt. I get comments DAILY about how 'oh he must be 7 or 8 months old'... um no hes 4 months 'wow chubby loves to eat huh'!
  • DD weighed in at 18lbs at her 4month (98th percentile) and 26.5 inches (95th percentile).

He was born at 8 lbs., 9 oz.
