Ethan eats 4 7oz (sometimes) bottles with 4 tbs of cereal in them (for reflux) and 2 stage one jars of baby food. He seems to not like the formula as much and the Dr says he should be getting at least 24 ozs. Thoughts?
Mine usually takes four 9oz bottles so a total of about 36oz. He has done this since 4 months. He eats 2 meals of fruits and veggies a day, as well as breakfast, lunch and dinner of whatever DH and I are eating. He has a serious appetite.

Holy cow. So you have him on table food too. I wonder if i fed Ethan more if he would eat. What does Liam weigh?
My DD has 4 or 5 6oz bottles a day. She also eats oatmeal and a fruit for breakfast, a veggie and fruit for lunch, and 2 veggies for dinner. I haven't started table foods yet, but she does eat puffs and those cheetos kind of gerber snack.

Do you feed her a full jar each time? Does she have teeth yet?

At breakfast, she eats the whole thing. At lunch she usually eats the whole thing, but at dinner it averages to about 1 1/2. Today, I gave her 2 chunks of watermelon before dinner, so I only fed her one veggie. She ate the whole thing.

Oh yeah, the pedi recommended solids at 4 and table food at 6 months. He eats whatever we eat. We went out tonight to DH's aunt and uncle's house for a BBQ and DS had salmon, chicken, beef, peppers, lots of cheese (probably 3oz minimum), a scallop (I know I probably shouldn't have let him have that one) and some potatoes. He had a 9oz bottle before bed, which brought his total intake today to 37 or 38oz and 3 BIG meals. He also had at least 3oz of water with dinner too. He's 20lbs with an unbelievable appetite.

DD usually takes about 24 oz of goat milk plus three or four full solids meals. A typical day of solids includes 4-5 oz of rice and bananas in the morning, a chicken drumstick and 2-4 oz of veggies for lunch, half an avocado and a hardboiled egg yolk in the evening, and then maybe 4 oz of applesauce for a snack at some point. We also feed her bites of whatever we are eating that she is not allergic to (tough since cow's milk, soy and wheat are out at the moment).
