XP: Night time poop and CD's

I posted this on EFF as well, but any help would be great!
We got a few BG 3.0's for night time and they have been wonderful, no leaks and comfy. My only issue is that sometimes she will poop in her sleep and not wake up (she is like Daddy and sleeps through everything) so sometimes she will sleep in a dirty diaper for a few hours.
This morning she woke up with a dirty
diaper and when I went to change it her bum was all red and raw and not a
happy camper. It was a perfect outline of where the diaper was, a big
patch covering most of her bum! Poor baby. I changed her into a
disposable, covered her with diaper cream and she fell back asleep. Do
you think we are going to have to use disposables for night time because
of the poop, or is there something I can do? She does not have
sensitive skin or anything so I know that's not the issue.
Other than
this we have had no issues and are so happy with the switch to CD's so I
feel so bad!

Disposables won't solve the problem of her sleeping in poop. It's not like poop would magically absorb into the inner core of a sposie, right?
My only advice is to let her air out as much as possible between diaper changes during the day to give her rash time to heal. Be super duper careful with rash cream and CDs (sounds like you're avoiding that issue by using sposies anyway).
