AW: My husband is now a detective =D

Dave was SOOOOOO hoping to get the new detective position within his department that the new chief just implemented and he was told today that he got it!!! Yay!!!

M-F, 8-4 for an entire year!! It will so nice to be on a *normal* schedule for that long =D

    Congrats! My DH was a detective (night shift) for a few years and really liked it. I didn't like ironing all of his shirts, though!

    I would have no idea how to handle a normal day job schedule, either!

    Woo Hoo!! 

    DH is still fairly new on the department so he's stuck on patrol for a while, and he's trying to get on a graveyard squad (which I am very much against) because he likes the sergeant better on graves.

    I feel you and him in both aspects (liking one higher up over another). Night suck, especially with LO's and DH isn't the best sleeper during the day. GL!!!!
