I'm seriously considering a home birth after watching "the business of being born" (which I highly recommend!) and reading various books on birthing. I have no idea how to find a certified nurse midwife in the area that delivers out of homes. Anyone have experience with this??
Re: Finding a midwife for homebirth
I'm looking into this too. As far as I know, there aren't any CNMs who deliver babies born at home. Only CPMs (certified professional midwives). If I find out anything different, I'll be sure to let you know! And good luck!
