few weeks ago. Would she still have side affects from it after this long?

  • It's possible. A rash from the MMR vaccine can show up anywhere from 1-3 weeks after the injection.

I was shocked when DS developed a rash 2 weeks after his shots. It was gone within 24 hours.

Should I go to the er or just wait till monday to make a doctor apt?

  • If it was roseola you would have been dealing w/ a high fever for a few days before the rash and the rash would be head to toe.

Is it just on dc's trunk there or is it all over?  Do they seem bothered by it?  My dr told me something about food allergy rashes, it was either tha they were head to toe or just along the trunk, I don't remember which it was though, so I am prob just confusing you and should shut up now =)  Sorry and GL!

How long has she had it?

If there's no fever and no respiratory issues and it hasn't been there that long, I would wait on it.

DS was at work with me and I flipped up his shirt to show my boss. The first thing he asked me was when we had his 12 month vaccines done. He didn't seem too concerned.

ETA: I work for doctor. lol I don't  flip DS's shirt up to random ppl.

My DD had roseloa and it looked just like your pic.  Her fever was not very high and the fever was gone pretty quick but the rash stuck around about a week or so.  The Dr said the fever usually goes away and the rash sticks around for up to 2 weeks.  Hope that helps...

  • It could be; Will got a similar looking rash the one time he tried strawberries. (He gets eczema if he eats wheat or corn also.) If no other symptoms, I'd wait till Monday and take her to the pedi.

  • Looks like hives to me.  Could be an allergic reaction to food or something you bathed/ moisturized your LO with.  It could also be the result of many viruses.  I would not rush into the doc for it unless the child takes a turn for the worse, but come Monday I would be on the phone.  GL!
