Gifts for shower hosts?

What are you getting for your shower hosts?  I have four and I don't want to break the bank getting them gifts, but I do want to get something nice for them.  Suggestions for little things that I could maybe throw together in a basket?  What is appropriate?

Re: Gifts for shower hosts?

  • You're the best judge of the best gifts for your hostesses. You could do a wine basket, spa basket, etc.

  • I've got 5 to buy for and I don't want to break the bank either.  There is a lavender farm down the road that sells soaps and other products.  I think I'm going to buy each a bar or 2 of soap and a little sachet and put it in a cute little bag.  That's all I can afford!

  • Crap, I completely forgot I need these and my shower is tomorrow!! Thanks!

  • I put together little packages from Bath and Body Works.  Bath gel, spray, bubbles, a candle and loofah.  I attached a note saying "I hope your next shower is as nice as mine was".... cheesy but effective ;)

  • I spent about $35 on some Vera Bradley accessories that matched my host's most recent purse.  For my wedding showers I bought some really nice lotion and a "miracle manicure" product for all my hosts.

  • how much time do you have?  All of my hostesses have children, so I bought them personalized necklaces with their kid's names on it (or the word "Nana" for my MIL) on Etsy...they were about $30 a peice :)

I love this....I was going to say Bath and Body Works. I know they had their travel size 3 for $10 and even had some at this price in a nice little package ready for gift giving.
