Anyone else get this yucky feeling around your dogs?

I know one of my dogs has poor manners, she farts & burps & its pretty digusting & thanks always bothered me. But now my other dog is grossing me out & i am an animal lover, I have worked in the veterinary field & its a gross field but there is somethng now that makes my stomach turn when I pet my dogs sometimes. Mainly after they eat because they both are burping & being disgusting & now even when they don't burp i pet them & just imagine them burping & it turns my stomach even when they don't do it. I hope to not feel this way soon because I love to kiss & snuggle with them but man can they get my stomach going.

    feed them plain live cultured yogurt. It really helps with the smelly gas. I have boxers and I think they are the worlds gassiest dogs!  good luck hun

    If you have a smushed face or bully breed like I do then forget about it. No amount of yogurt can cure those beasts. I suggest just wearing a gas mask.

    Agreed. What are they eating? The Pets board could help you choose something high quality. I rarely hear my dog burp- if she does it's tiny right after she eats. I don't think I have ever heard my foster dog burp. Foster is on Wellness and my dog is on EVO.

    Make sure you aren't feeding them "people food" - it will only make it worse and it's not good for them.  Our little dog farts sometimes, but it usually means she needs to go out and do her buisness.  I'm completely disgusted by the idea of any germs our dogs might have and haven't been so cuddly lately - so I get you there.  My husband has had to be best friends to our dogs the last few weeks.  Even the smell of the dry dog food makes me feel sick to my stomach!

    I'm definatly not feeding people food, never have done that. They eat Dog Chow, I hate switching there food because I never know what will be good on their stomachs & they've always been on this food. My really nasty dog is a bully breed...she's a pit bull mix. My other dog Chopper he's a goldendoodle & he never farts he will just burp every so often, think its because he gets excited & gets air while he eats.
