  I am betting that you ovulated later than you think you did and that you aren't really 8 days late.

  Yep, Congrats!! My friend was a week late before her bfp this cycle & then another week late & finally got her period. This month she was a week late & took a test, neg. Then a week later she was neg & then a few days after 2 weeks late it came back bfp. I think she ovulated later too.

  I had my doctor confirm that I'm knocked! She's concerned that I might have a thyroid issue that may have caused a late ovulation. I go back on Monday to confirm everything.
