I had a chemical pregnancy last cycle and swore to myself I would never test early again.
well, here I am -- only 9 days dpo -- and I'm testing. of course it's negative... so, why did I do it? I've been having nausea off and on (new this cycle) and a metallic taste in my mouth (also new). why do I fall into this trap? every cycle, I think -- oooh, these are pg symptoms. but they turn out not to be (with the exception of the chem pg).
thanks for letting me vent. I'm still hoping for a freakin' BFP!

I'm 9dpo too! And I tested this am to a BFN as well (mind you I am doing a pg test study so I have to test every morning since CD20)
It's still early! Hang in there!
FWIW, I had a metallic taste in my mouth as a symptom of pg - but I was like 6w...so, I think it's too early to be a symptom (b/c I"m a firm believer in the whole "if you are pg to have symptoms, you are pg enough to test + on an HPT"), but the dreamer side of me thinks....hmmmm......maybe it is a sign?!
Good luck! Hope to see a BFP from you in a couple of days!
I know how you feel! I'm 7DPIUI and I'm itchin' to test!! With my last BFP (ended in m/c), my boobs hurt like crazy......and this time, nothing. So now I'm convinced that it didn't work this time. It will kill me to wait until next Friday to have the beta done........maybe I'll test the day before, just so I'm not surprised if/when I get the BFN call!
The PP is right, it is too early.......so hopefully you'll get your BFP next week! Good luck!
