this.
I wouldn't really consider you "infertile" or having previous fertility issues if you got pg with #1 after/at a year. Please don't rush to label yourself as "infertile" unless you truly have that as a diagnosis.

I am with you. It makes me wonder if it was hubby the first time, but he has a son with his ex that was an accident so we just assumed it wasnt him. The doctor just called me that, doesnt mean I AM prego because of it.

Oh whatever, who are you to tell me what I am. My DOCTOR diganosed me as unexplained infertility with baby #1.

What? That last sentence doesn't even make sense.
It can take a healthy couple up to a year to conceive, and you only have about a 20% chance of getting PG with perfect timing every month.
So it wasn't necessarily you or your DH.

at a year? It can take up to a year. You said you TTC'd #1 for a year. This doesn't make you have unexplained infertility. How much testing had you done (and how early) for the doc to come up with that diagnosis?
I'm just curious. Because unless you are over 35 there was no need to go to the doc prior to one year of TTC... and even then, there would have been extensive testing before a diagnosis was made.
We opted not to because he had created a son previously. ANYWAYS, how welcoming you 2 are. Do you get enjoyment from harassing the newbs?
sweetheart, I'm not harassing at all. Just curious how you got that diagnosis. It's not a badge of honor. I've REALLY been down that road. Seriously, its a very very rough one. Why would anyone want to be officially diagnosed with "infertility" by their doc. This goes in your medical file... and down the line if you do need testing - lots of times insurance wont cover it if you already are diagnosed with infertility.
but nevermind. you'll be KU with twins in no time since you're such a fertile-myrtle infertile. Good luck to you on your journey to #2.
And, I only opened this post to be supportive since I AM TTC#2 after battling infertility with #1. I thought we'd be in the same boat, but honey, you are in an entirely different ocean!

I just wanted to jump in here and tell you that I was thinking the same exact thing as the 2 ladies you are "calling out" when I read that you had only been TTC#1 for a year but were "infertile." All of the pertinent information wasn't in your first post (ex. you didn't get an SA for your DH) so they were within their right to assume that you were just confused. I have only been on this site for a few weeks but I have seen quite a few people who have called themselves infertile without really understanding what it means and I'm sure that they were just reacting off of that.
Anyway, I have NEVER felt harassed by anyone on these boards, especially the two people who you think get enjoyment from it. The only time I have been snarked, I deserved it and looked back at my post and realized why people thought what they did about it. It's the way this board runs, a little snark and lots of support and advice when warranted.
Good luck getting your BFP.

1. Just because he had done it before, doesn't mean that something could not have changed. Secondary infertility, not just for women.
2. it is ANYWAY
3. A little bit, but that is not the point. I am not going to kiss your as$ if you are wrong about something and/or being insensitive.

Welcome.
Not to burst your bubble, but I get AF type cramping from AT LEAST 5DPO on. It could mean a pregnancy, but it could just be AF being a biotch.
GL.
They aren't harassing you. If you look, you will see there are people here who are actually infertile and know what they are talking about.
So what you are saying is that because someone had a child previously they can just have baby after baby willy-nilly? Good to know!

I am not wrong about crap so you CAN kiss my a$$!
You are fun. Please stick around!
Wow, I'm so sorry I missed this. I could have had fun with this one.
Well, darling, lucky you - you can now really point your fingers and laugh at all the truly infertile women here who mocked you. Hardy har har
