ETA: DELETED the word "railed." I used it innappropriately. I pictured it more as slapped on the hand with a ruler. I didn't know it had those connotations. This is over.

Um, no you didn't. It was a discussion and a good one, not a criticism, railing or anything else you might want to call it. It wasn't a lecture or anything else. When people post things that affect all of us it is important to discuss them as a group so there are no misconceptions nor assumptions and there where a lot of misconceptions and assumptions about the blog, thus the DISCUSSION. Can we please end this drama. No one meant you harm, leneae.

Sigh... I just read the other post that started all this drama.
It would have been better to just PM you instead of starting a war on the board.

But you where not "slapped on the hand with a ruler" either. It was a discussion, nothing more than that and NO harm was meant. The purpose was to address assumptions and misconceptions about it. End.of.story.
Not when there where so many people who had misconceptions and assumptions about it. And FWIW, I was not the only one who posted and had misconceptions about the blog. Yes, I know her intentions are good, but when something is out there that affects us all and might contain our info on it, then we should all talk about it. The discussion ended it all. Also, it was not a war. I have seen far worse on here and a peaceful discussion is far different from a board war.
I don't think a board 'war' was started here. Nor do I think anyone was slapped on the hand.
I think that if you're going to start an 'official' blog, you should at least have the thumbs up from 1) the people you're representing and in this case 2) from The Bump as you're representing them as well.
I personally don't care what you do or don't do, but that's what makes something 'official' in my eyes.

If you think that was a board war, well, yikes. It was a very civil discussion. I think dragging it out is what's making drama. If she wanted to avoid drama, she just would have PMed you instead of saying she got railed or WTF ever.
I have seen my share of board wars...
