Merr's birthday hat! I bought wayyyyyy too much material. I obviously had no clue what I was doing, lol.

    I want to make one for the LOs since I can't find one for their theme (luau)

    That is adorable! What did you use for the cone? I tried to make ds one when he was six months old (1/2) and our cone shape was horrendous, we used some foam "paper" from Michaels.

    Super cute- I'm making some for both my kids' birthdays this year. I'm just using party hats from last year, covering them with fabric, adding pom-poms, felt, boas, what have you. At least that's the plan- I have a crochet pattern I might try, too.

    You should make her a matching birthay bib with the rest of the fabric- cute for cake pics!

     

    why oh why didn't I think of that, must've been sleep deprivation at the 6 mo mark :)
