    I've never been a fan of the name Nevaeh. I always thought it was like naming your kid hell, you know, backwards heaven? But it's been in top 100 most popular baby names since 2005, which boggles my mind.

    TJ suggested that we name our kid Bumble Bee after watching one of the Transformers movies. But he likes to suggest off the wall names (such as Panther, Motorcyle and Lou Ferigno. . .) to get me going.

    Seriously.  I thought the whole Neveah thing was like La-ia or something equally stupid.   It took me awhile to realize people were actually naming their child this. 

    I really wonder what people are thinking when they name their kids.  I haven't seen anything supremely bad on this board, but on Baby Names it's just out.of.control.

    The name doesn't make sense.  If you read it backwards, it says Angel Sent Heaven.  It should be Legna Tnes Neveah.  People are dumb.

    I have officially thought too much about this.

    I am joining the band wagon of people who hate the name Nevaeh. I really really don't understand why that name is so popular.The other part that gets me, is when people use names like Angel Nevaeh or Trinity Nevaeh. I have nothing against the name Angel or Trinity, just why do you have to pair religious names with another religious meaning and then spell it backwards. Can't you just spell it forwards, we all know what you are saying. And doesn't it just doom that child to being a difficult child with names like that? I know someone who is naming their child Trinity Nevaeh and I swear she is going to be the hardest child to deal with just because she will be the opposite of what her name means.
