Do you ever think you weight different at home than at the doctors. I weight myself at home just before I leave for the appts so I am not shocked at the number on the scale. I always weight more at the doctors appt than at home. Maybe its just me.

Re: Weight related, not what you think?
Yeah, me too. I hate it.
My mom has a "mean scale" and hers is always right on with our scale and then the doc is like 2-3 lbs heavier. Weird.
Exactly. I was in the hospital once and the nurse weighed me using the bed scale, I was a full 7-8 pounds heavier than what my scale at home said. I'm a few pounds heavier at the dr.'s than at home but, like pp said, the doctor is looking for the trend.

I'm not sure because I weight myself first thing in the morning, sans clothes, before I eat or drink anything and when I get weighted at the doctors it's usually with a tummy full of food and water, shoes, and heavy clothes. Ugh, I hate seeing higher numbers at the docs when I know I'm really lower, lol!
I'm guessing though that my docs scale is just like mine at home b/c I've been keeping track of my at home weight and my at the docs office weight and the increase is about the same.
it depends how what you are wearing to the doctor's office... My scale at home says I'm lighter then what the scale at the doctor's office says.
But I noticed I don't wear my shoes when I weigh myself at home, where I do when I'm at the doctor's..
and really for some reason that made up the difference for me..
