I ususally get my girly bits waxed every month. Last month I forgot because quite frankly, I can't see anything down there anymore. I need a wax asap but don't know what to do because I feel like I'm such a mess down there. I feel like I need to trim before I go but that's nearly impossible right now.

Just get a beard trimmer and put one of the attachments on it and buzz away. That way you'll be even and the wax won't hurt so badly.

I have heard of women using their husband's hair clippers. I've never tried this personally so I can't comment on how well it works to clean things up a bit.

I've used DH's trimmer with the guard on it. Only problem is its really hard to get the "lips" trimmed up because its not a flat surface.

No, especially not if you put an attachment on it... keeps the blades from touching your skin.

I use a mens body hair trimmer to trim and I have never cut myself. That might work so it doesn't kill when you go for waxing.

No it won't nick if you have the attachment on, I do this often if I skip a wax and no accuracy needed

Thx ladies! I feel so much better now that I've discussed my girly bits on a public forum. I'm going to have to run home tonight before DH gets home and lock myself in the bathroom and hope he never realizes why and where I used his trimmer.

they make bikini trimmers for women that are under $20. I got mine from Ulta and H doesn't have to worry about picking pubes out of his beard.

with even the lowest attachment, you can just shave and not even really pay attention or see what you are doing and it will still come out good with no cuts. Of course this does leave a little short buzz-cut, but that's better than wild bush, right?
