For me, I hope that my LO doesn't pick up DH's OCD about the house being clean. It stems from his childhood with his Father not allowing them to make a mess. I have pretty much given up on keeping the house clean. I let DH do it. Less of a headache that way. What is the one personality trait/characteristic that you hope LO doesn't learn/pick up from DH/SO?

DH hated school and was a terrible student. He was the guy that took 4 years of college and isn't anywhere close to getting a degree. Maybe because he took classes like badmitton (seriously).
While I hope our kid gets DH's athleticism, personability, sense of humor, etc - all things that will help him be successful in life, I do hope he gets his book smarts from my side
I hope LO is able to adopt a rountine for settling down at night and going to sleep.
DH stays up every night till he is dead tired and then can't figure out why he is always so run down!
DH has crazy flat feet. When he walks on dry concrete with wet feet after getting out of the pool, there is basically his whole footprint because he has almost no arch. The athletic trainer actually thanked DH once for letting him see his feet, becuase he has an extra bone in his ankle and the trainer had only read about it in books.
Since I have pretty feet with high arches, I hope our kids will take after me, espeically if we ever have a girl. I couldn't imagine trying to find heels for her if she gets his feet!
