Okay, after talking to some of you ladies and my family I have decided to do a food processor instead of the baby food makers. So, I need recs for food processors. Thanks!

Cuisinart. Best brand and heavy duty. I went through 2 Black & Deckers before finally splurging on the Cuisinart and I couldn't be happier. We use these for our catering business too.
I have the Cuisinart 9 cup prep. It's the right size for me but I use it to can also. You could probably get away with a smaller one if you are only going to use it for baby food. I got mine on Amazon for way cheaper than anywhere else.
I have an ancient cuisinart that a friend gave me that is a small size and I love it. However, I use a wand blender for all of our purees and haven't needed to use the processor at all.

I had the Cuisinart blender/food processor combo and I do NOT recommend it. It was as loud as lawnmower and after rarely ever using it, it broke the other night while I was making mashed sweet potatoes for LO. I had baked these things for over and hour...they were very soft and the thing died on me! I was left with a whole container to mash by hand which wasn't fun
