FB vent

There is a couple on my FB who write on each others walls for the sole purpose of letting everyone read it. Sometimes lengthy conversations, other times letting each other know how madly in love they are. And they are married, and live together... yet they have to have full out conversations on FB. Sometimes while they are both home with each other (and probably in the same room)!

Seriously, I hardly ever write on DH's wall, and when I do, it is certainly not something along the lines of "Ok, I'm doing laundry now, next I'll start cooking supper, and I just wanted to tell you how much I love you...."

To me it seems like they are putting on a show.

Vent over.

This is where the "hide" feature comes in handy.  I have a friend whose husband used to "hack" into her account and post weird and somewhat sexy things and then she's get on and act all giggly and flirty.  I wanted to gag.  So she's hidden from my feed.

Oh, they were very much hidden! This evening I noticed that somehow they became unhidden! I don't know why but my FB has gone all wacky lately. They were hidden again in no time though Stick out tongue

  • lol.  some people are just really sickening.

  • They are putting on a show.

I also know of some wives who post "sweet" things about themselves on their husband's walls and pass it off as their DH's writing. It just makes me think how pathetic their marriage must be.

  • Wow. I'm not going to lie sometimes DH and I have conversations over the computer while sitting in the same room, but we do it in IM to be silly and that's private, nothing showy about it. I dislike it when couples put on an "act" about how in love they are.

  • I agree with all of the above posts....however....I know one couple that will write something outrageous on their status and the husband will respond with an even funnier comment on it.  I don't know if it is totally planned but it is funny usually.  Nothing sexy or lovey dovey about it.
