Babies on the Brain

He spoke to me

Cole was crying, which hes done pretty much all day.

DH says:  He's crying, just like he always does.

I say:  See what I deal with all day.  I promise going to work is easier than what I do all day

He had the balls to laugh at me

  • Here's a fun one...

I was up getting some water.  cole started crying.  I was out of the room at the time so when I came back in DH pointed to Cole and told me his paci feel out.  So, you couldn't get your arse up and put it back in, you had to wait until I came back in and tell me to do it?

I think hes winning loser father of the year at this point

  • I firmly believe he is in need of a night in alone with the boys. With no clue what time you will return. Perspective is needed.

  • Oh hell no. Sounds like someone needs solo duty on Saturday, and a certain new mommy needs a day at the spa. That shiit would land his arse on the couch indefinitely.
  • Sounds like he is trying to get under your skin.  Don't let him.  You need to plan a day for yourself and let him take care of the boys for the day.  I am sorry he is being such a douche!

This.  It fixed mine.  (not an overnight, but a 12 hour shift of work for me).

  • These misbehaving DH stories are frightening me. I did it alone with DD, and thought (perhaps misguidedly so) that having a baby with DH would mean two people to do the work I did alone. I really am not looking forward to a potential smackdown.
