Hi ladies,
I had my ET this morning and we had 4 blasts and our RE was extremely adamant on only transferring 1 beautiful blast. Before we got in the room, we were set on transferring 2 even if it was against doc's recommendation. Then in crunch time we decided on transferring 1.
I know that transferring 2 supposedly does not increase your odds of getting pregnant, just increases your chances of having twins. Our gut just told us that everything with IVF #1 has gone so smoothly, why mess with it now?
Anyone have a success story from transferring one blast? I'd love some reassurance! TIA!
Re: Any success stories from transferring one embie?
I just did in February. I was kind of feeling down after we did, but now i am so glad that we only did one.
My RE is very conservative, and they said my odds of pregnancy were 70% with 2, 60% with one. However, twins would be a significant risk with 2 (like 35% or higher and then 5% for triplets)
I transferred 2 frozen with my DD, and only one took and i transferred the other 3 that i had frozen in 2 subsequent cycles that resulted in a c/p and BFN.
My quality wasn't even as great this time around, but it only took one!
We only transferred ONE! And that little embie is currently sitting next to me on the couch playing with her feet
Good luck to you
We transferred 1 and it worked! Our doc had a similar outlook as yours, so we took her advice. Good luck!!
We only transferred one because of my unicornuate uterus and he stuck. He's kicking me right now!
Good luck!!
Thank you ladies!!!!!! And congratulations to all of you mamas!
(Did anyone POAS before their beta? If so, what day?)
