Not from the babies. They're making their presence known.
From DH. I told him last night that I felt like a single parent. He turned that around into a pity party for him, which I didn't buy and we haven't really talked since.
Why can't he just realize that yes, I understand you have to go to work and wake up early. But, that doesn't mean I should be the only person with parenting responsibilities.
Re: Oh the silence
sounds like it's a BOTB DH smackdown day. Hope he pulls his head out of his @ss and finds ways to contribute
Oh how many times I wanted to say that... I can't imagine feeling that way with double the work.
They don't get the sleep thing do they? If you wake me up I cannot go back to sleep. If I fall asleep on the couch do not wake me up to go to bed because I won't fall back to sleep anytime soon.
I hope all the BOTB H's get with the program. Grrr.
Shiit. Going to work is easier than taking care of one baby, let alone two. That's a crock of shiit. Sorry he's being a douche.
Edit for spelling.
This.
Definitely. DH kept referring to my maternity leave as "vacation." He works overnights, so I have the baby all night. One day after he told me he plans for the day, which did NOT include helping me with the baby, I lost it. We had a talk and it's been better since then, but I don't truly think he got how exhausting it can be.
