Newbie needs help!

I am new to the board and the Houston area. I took several home pregrancy tests last week and they were all positive. I am going to doctor today. I am looking for a ob/gyn in the Spring, Cypress or the Woodlands. I reside in the Champions Forest area. My current ob/gyn is Dr. Eads in the Woodlands and I have also seen Dr. Carol Collins.

This is my FIRST, so, all of this is new to me. So, any advice or suggestions of ob/gyn AND hospitals, would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!!!

Congrats! My doctor was Dr. White at the Northwest Women's Center (across from Methodist Willowbrook). I also saw several of the other doctors when mine was out and liked them as well. I delivered at Methodist Willowbrook and had a great experience. Good luck!

I used to see Dr. Carol Collins as well. She was my OBGYN for my 1st kiddo. She was out a few times and I saw Dr. Jennifer Brezeale when she was who also happened to be the doctor on call when I went into labor. I LOVED her so I switched. If I hadn't moved she would still be my doc.

I delivered at St. Luke's in The Woodlands and absolutely loved it. The rooms are like a hotel room, the nursing staff is awesome, and the food was pretty darn good too. :-) I can't say enough good things about my experience there.

I am seeing Dr. Giannotti in The Woodlands and will deliver at Memorial Herman there.

Methodist Willowbrook just opened their new wing at the hospital. It is suppose to be really nice (sorry I haven't been there yet - my regular doctor is there).

Some of the other ladies will chime in and let you know about their experiences!

I just switched doctors because of a bad experience at my previous doctor (whom at one point I totally loved...now, not so much lol). Anyway I switched on recommendation of 2 people on this board to Dr. Laura Davidson in Tomball... one word...AWESOME!!!!!

She does all ultrasounds herself, in her office. Her staff is super nice. Small things like they call to remind you of your appointment (my previous doctor's office didn't). I just went in Tuesday for a follow up to cysts on my ovaries and was in and out (including an ultrasound) in less than 30 minutes!

I really recommend her if you are looking for super personalized service from your doctor's office.

She only delivers at Tomball but I've heard that it is really nice there.

I delivered my son at Methodist Willowbrook and it was nice but their billing department is awful and I had a bad experience with their lactation consultant, she was NOT helpful at all.

I saw Dr. Castillo for my 2nd pregnancy. I loved her and her bedside manner. I delivered at Methodist Willowbrook and have no complaints about my stay there.

Ditto. She is my dr. and there are many nesties that have delivered with her. She is very down to earth and really listens to you and what you want during your delivery and has a very calming nature which was really good for me being a first timers.

Ditto also on St. Luke's in The Woodlands.
