(I'm calling this a science experiment).

  • For a pregnant person?  30.

For my already fat non-pregnant belly?  2.

Curious though: do you let your kids eat LC?  I'm pretty sure I couldn't deprive my children of the joy of marshmallow cereal.

No, because I am evil.  While I agree with Colinda in theory, this seems to be the thing I can eat right now.  And apparently, I can eat a lot of it.

My children, on the other hand, grow devil horns, sprout tails, and begin speaking in tongues when given Lucky Charms.  So we have a box marked "MOMMY'S."  For real.  EVIL!!!

  • When I was a kid, my brothers and I each got a box of "sugar cereal" for -- wait for it -- a Christmas present. Yep.

In hindsight, my parents were genius. That way we only at crap cereal as a treat, and we were actually really, genuinely stoked about a $3 Christmas gift.

Ooh, I like it.  I just haven't decided what tack I'd take on the sugary cereal thing.  I always assumed I'd have a box of LC or CTC around as a Saturday treat, but nothing more than that.  I certainly consumed ten times my weight in the stuff when I was a kid, and I turned out ok (except for that whole habitual aborter thing).

Totally agreed. I never was allowed to eat flavored/sugary cereals and now I think they're completely disgusting.

Of course, DH routinely buys Booberry and other such things, so I'm sure it'll be quite a battle whenever sevens_junior finally makes his or her way into the world.

That is awesesome!  I'm not a cereal eater, so even one bowl would be too much for me.  I do however know of a place where you can buy the marshmallows all by themselves and I've been known to eat some of those.

To be fair, Grr generally eats like Colinda, so when someone like that loses their mind and intentionally ingests a DISGUSTING amount of useless carbs, the body reacts.

I should not be so stupid.  Apparently those other boards I've been chillin' on have rubbed off on me.  ;)
