I'm sure this has been asked numerous times, but just curious to see what everyone's take on this. In my field of work I am on my feet a lot, and lift tables/chairs, etc. For example, on Saturday, I will be on my feet coordinating a wedding from 12 noon-midnight with minimal sitting, and setting up ceremony chairs, moving tables around, etc.
I know I can't stop my life during the 2ww, but I want to make sure I am not hurting my chances of getting pregnant. I am so nervous about everything.
Do you all continue with your moderate exercise or continue your strenuous activity during the 2ww?
Re: Exercise in the 2 WW after an IUI?
I only took the day of IUI easy. The next day I went back to my normal routine. GL!
I continue my regular routine which I wouldn't call strenuous, 45 min on the bike, 2 mile walk and light weights 3x week.
I figure people get pg all the time while exercising so as long as RE doesn't say no then I am going to continue my life as normal. I am curious what other people do.

I hear ya-it is tough work! I am hoping to try to take it easier on Saturday, and delegating the strenuous jobs to the staff is a good idea

Thankful for every day
My first RE told me to live life as normal, while my current RE told me to stop working out once I start my injections, "working out" including jumping around, high cardio, etc. Most forms of yoga, walking, and upper body is okay, in her opinion.
I know it's a big debate, but as of right now, I'm going to just do what my RE tells me to do! GL!
My unprofessional opinion is to do whatever it takes to take care of yourself to make the BEST home for baby.
For me that means:
1. Eating as perfect as I can. As many veggies and fruits as I can. Low caffeine and always taking my pills.
2. Moderate movements. Although My theory is to take the day of IUI as a bedrest day. I tell my DH that so I can be as lazy as possible and he waits on me hand and foot. Good practice for him when I get prego.
I figure can't hurt, might help.
