I've been kind of MIA lately mainly because of work, but I was hoping you all could help. Most of you know my story, DH lost his job in December, we had to drop daycare because we couldn't afford it. We have a back up plan that when DH does start back to work that my aunt will watch DD. Well she's having some medical issues that hamper her from really watching Annabelle. I'm worried about my aunt. She starts therapy next week and the doctor couldn't give her any pain medication because she's a diabetic, so we've decided that we should look for daycare. Obviously I would love for my aunt to watch her, but we all know that babies are a lot of work. Sorry about my rambling.
I'm looking for either in-home or daycare centers in the Harford County (Bel Air, Abingdon, Fallston)/Baltimore County (Perry Hall, White Marsh, Middle River) area. If anyone has any recommendations please let me know.
Thanks
Re: Daycare Recs and Prayers
I will keep my ears open and let you know if I hear of anything.
We are in the same boat--my DH has been laid off since November and will need to look for someone part-time when he goes back to work.
No recs, Jen but I just wanted to say good luck! and T&P to your aunt.
Looking for daycare can be incredibly stressful.
Lisa- If you don't mind looking for the info I'll take it. Thanks.
Jen- So sorry to hear about your aunt. The daycare pp posted about is Infants 'n More in Kingsville, right up Belair Rd. from Perry Hall....it's where DD is going September 1st. We really liked the people there and the way it is set up. You can also do part time, three days a week.

Thats it! I couldnt remember the name of it. I know our friends are very nervous about daycare but they thought this place was the best out of the many they visited.
We looked at both centers and in home care, and decided to go with in home. It is definitely a personal choice though, and this is just what worked best for us. I used this website to help located in home care, and found it very helpful. You can search based on area, whether or not the person has pets, smokes, etc. GL!!

FWIW- this is how I found the DC provider I gave you the info on.
Yah I figure I ask you ladies first and see if anyone had any local recommendations. Thanks again. I'll start my search all over again.
I am so sorry to hear about your aunt, I hope she get's better soon.
I know we have emailed back and forth about daycare in the past. We ended up back where we were. However, there were two providers and they have split and now each have their own daycare. I will PM you the number of the one of the girls. Not sure if she has spots, but can't hurt to ask. We go part time. I also looked into the centers in the area, and the Y was definately the least expensive.
