And of course bring DH and DS. Lol.
There's still zero wind, but it's green and LOUD outside. I'm so scared. I know we never have tornadoes in the city, but we moved to the edge, where the only reported ones have been in 10 or so years.
It's gone from some light to absolute dark. EEK! Can someone come hold me? I've been terrified of storms since I was 3.
ETA: THe rain is in, very strong, and we now have wind. The lightning is striking a lot as well.
Shlt. They interrupted the show. It's all purple and red on us!

We have a closet downstairs and a bathtub upstairs. There's some wind right now. The local news is airing some, but they try to only come on during commercials unless something major happens.
I'm in tornado Alley, TX, so it's not much better here, either. And, we don't have a basement.

Well that generally means that nothing is imminent. But keep your radio and/or TV close by to be sure.
I hate big storms too. Fortunately being in Connecticut we don't get the tornado activity you're close to. DH and I have an extra room (until we can get our TTC act together!) so feel free to move North! But I've lived in Indiana and Texas so I understand what that uncomfortable feeling is like. {{big hug}}
