I know there are exceptions, but does this generally happen? Noah was 2 weeks early and I am already ready to start my count down to maternity leave. LOL
For me they came later each time except Michelle but thats because I had complications and had an emergency c-section.
For my mom her 1st came 3 weeks early and the rest of us were at least a week late.
Geez honey you are only 10 weeks & you are already counting down until maternity leave????? lol

If I leave here tomorrow, would you still remember me. For I must be traveling on now. Because there are too many places I've got to see. -Allen Collins & Ronnie VanZant
My favorite verse!
Well, in my case, yes. However, that's b/c #2 will most likely arrive via c-section, too. That's considering cheating right?
However, it really depends. I'll use my mother's first two pregnancies as an example: I was two weeks late, but my brother was two weeks early. Not saying that the reverse will happen to you, but you never know.
Not for me. I was on bedrest for 10 weeks with Nathan (ds#1) and he came at 36 weeks and then for Brayden I was on bedrest for 8 weeks and got taken off at 36 weeks with everyone thinking I would go into labor immediately nope I had to be induced! They induced me at 39 weeks. For both pregnancies BR was due to pre term labor.
ds1 was exactly 2 weeks early. ds2 2.5 weeks early , a much smaller head so much better delivery and zero recovery. makes me want to convince dh to go for 3, hope the same is for you
Re: Does #1 coming early usually mean #2 will be early?
Not necessarily. DD #1 was 4 weeks early. DD #2 was 2 weeks early. DD#3 was 4 weeks early.
