Anyone have a remembrance tattoo?

My best friend is coming to visit over Memorial Day weekend and we are going to get our second tattoos. I'm getting one that celebrates my son and remembers my losses. If you have one, please PIP! I would love to see!!

I don't yet, but I really want one! I have been playing with a few ideas, but I can't decide what I want. I know I want it to be on my ankle. I have been thinking about putting angel wings with Olivia's name, or just her name.. I'm not sure. I would love to see what you decide on when you get yours! Please PIP when you do!

i had planned that after i had this baby i wanted to get his or her newborn footprints tattooed on my back. hopefully someday i will have a LO of my own and i will be able to have those little footprints on my body in ink and not just in my heart. i thought about doing something with the losses but mine were all so early that im not sure what i would do. i think its a really sweet idea though and i would love to see what people are getting

I don't, but I'm planning to have her footprints (actual size) next to my c-section scar. I'm waiting until after we're finished having kids.

I don't, but I do have a friend who has an elephant on her belly. Near her belly button. With a green blanket on its back the green was to represent the emerald birthstone. The elephant because they never forget.I thought it was sweet. She didn't lose her baby she placed him for adoption ( we were very young).

I am getting one, as soon as I find the wings I like. I am getting it on my left forearm (the underneath part) I am going to have "KEELY" going vertically between the angel wings. I asked if I could actually do it in a peach color (Keelys nickname, before we knew she was a girl, and had an official name, was Peaches) but she said it wouldn't show up, kind of figured that. So, of course mine will be pink. My husband is actually getting the same tattoo on his shoulder blade, but it will be black.

If you have an idea of what you want, you can google it. I've found some to give me a good idea of the sort of wings I want. So, if you have an idea, just google it. =]

I don't have it yet, but I know exactly what I want... I've been thinking about it ever since my first loss... I'm going to get a baby wrapped in angel wings with the two dates underneath it. It will be on my left side under my arm pit somewhat. I know it's going to be painful as it'll be on my rib cage, but nothing can compare to the pain I've felt with the losses. I just have to figure out when I'm going to get it. My other tattoos were done at a shop back where we used to live (where we grew up) and I want to get it there. I love the work they do and trust them. Thing is, it's 5 hours away from where we live now, so it'll definitely have to be a planned trip with not much else to do which is hard when you have to visit everyone ans their brother! Lol. But I'm sooooo excited to get it! It's so funny you mentioned this though, I was just looking at other ones on google yesterday

I think the angel wings is a cute idea.

I am planning on getting a blue bird, for my son, because he loves birds and I call him my baby bird, and two flowers incorporated into the design, to represent my two losses. I would like the flowers pink and purple, because I have a feeling my two losses were baby girls. I hope the tattoo artist can fit it all together.

I am going to get Avery & Alex's foot prints on my wrist. My Hubby nixes it because of the color and hard to hide, but than I found this.. looks more like a scar. I have not gotten them yet.

I have three stars for my first three losses - I am adding another for Baby February soon. I also want to add an element for DH and I - I was going to go with love birds, but I changed my mind.

I think two elephants would be more fitting - Something like this, without the hearts on the side and tails. I like the outline idea:

I already have angel wings on my back, got them when I was 19. Hmmm, maybe i'm psychic. lol I plan on getting Aidan's name tattooed over my heart with a halo hanging on the A. I'll get that once we're done having kids. I may also get a frog on the inside of my wrist.

I really like that! I wouldn't feel so bad to put in on the inside of my wrist. But I don't think a footprint would look good there.

I'm getting mine next month for my birthday. Its going to be at the bottom of my neck where it meets my back and her name Farrah with a halo hanging off the corner of the F. Her names going to be in bright pink and the halo bright yellow. My husband is getting a cross there too with her name worked into it. I might also get her birthday under her name.
