Poison! So cheesy and so damn good. Still play their stuff on my iPod. I dare you to resist "I Won't Forget You" or "Something to Believe In". But my fave is "Nothin' But a Good Time". Still AWESOME!

This is a very hard decision to make... and I'm just a sort of casual fan of this oeuvre of music.
I chose Def Leppard because I love their slower songs - "Hysteria," "Have you ever needed someone so bad," etc... I do love me some Bon Jovi, though. In college a group of us used to sit around translating Bon Jovi songs into French.

I think it's a toss up, though I'm not sure I would clasify Motley Crue and G'n R in the same category as Warrant. Just sayin'
FYI, I think I have actually seen most of these bands live...
Totally. Some of them were hair band "trailblazers" and some were hair band "bandwagoners." I agree that Motley Crue and G&R are on a different plane. All hair bands, though, technically!

I loved Etreme. I think they only had the one hit, so I wouldn't count them as the "best" but da*n I love me some More Than Words.

I heart you.
My friend and I still say "un mauvais nom" when singing "You Give Love a Bad Name (un mauvais nom)." I'm not even sure if that's the correct French phrasing, actually - guess I was too busy translating Bon Jovi songs to, you know, learn french properly.

I'm with the Bon Jovi people! My first concert ever was Bon Jovi in 1989. My mom took my older sister who was 9, and I was 7. Skid Row opened. Still the best concert I have ever been to, and I have been to A LOT!!!
