Depends on the bread. We get tasty Cranberry-Apple swirl bread for DD and I eat the ends, and I'll eat the end of a baguette, but when it's just regular white/wheat/rye/whatever sandwich bread, I pitch it.
DH eats them. He will actually take the whole loaf out to get to the end slice. We had a conversation about "if bread co's make just the ends" last night. We have such fascinating things to talk about these days.
No. I just went to make a sandwich and it was just the ends and I threw it out and opened a new loaf. I always feel bad though. I don't like wasting food

I do because I feel guilty throwing then out. Sometimes I make cinnamon sugar toast with them. Then I feel guilt for eating all the sugar and butter but virtuous because I'm eating the bread heels.
Re: Do you eat the bread ends....
I don't.
But I give them to Jake, he doesn't care.
FI also eats them and I've used them for croutons and breadcrumbs.
I just had them for breakfast this morning
I don't mind french bread...but not whole wheat bread like this
...bleh! I'll actually throw away the bread when we get down to the two end pieces.
