Went to a baby shower last night...

The girl is due June 17. My first EDD was June 27. There is no way I would have let my m/c stop me from going to her shower, because she is a dear family friend, but it was hard for me when I saw her big baby belly and to think, hey, that is how big my belly should be right now!! She sent me a very nice message on facebook this morning thanking me for attending the shower and to let me know that I am always in her prayers.

Ugh, this losing babies stuff is so hard. I don't wish this kind of pain on anyone...

You are so strong for going!! I am not sure I could have done the same!! I have two friends, one who's baby was born just two weeks before I lost Keely, and one that was born ont his Mothers day, we all talked about getting together, and having "playdates", right now, its hard for me to even talk to them. They are going through the things I should be going through with my newborn, and its so hard!! We just have to figure out how to stay strong though!

Am proud of you! I was invited to a baby shower this weekend and i decided not to go! Its not that i didnt want to go its just that i didnt want to go! i know if my FI was with me i would be able to go but he is not able to make it down to am not going!
