pre-school backpak from PBK

I am getting this for our toddler who is starting a new school next week and it's so hard to figure out sizes (even w/ a ruler).

hoping one of you can shed some light on it. Which size should I get, pre-school  size or Small? Thanks

    We don't have one, but if I were to buy one for DD based on the measurements I would go for the pre-school size.  The small size is a foot wide and I just can't imagine that on DD's little back.

    I got my DD the pre-school size and it is plenty big for her, she can't wear it just yet but next year she should.  How old is the child you are buying it for, if a 5 yo or something I would definitely say Small size.

    We have another style of PBK's backpack and have it in pre-school size.  I tried putting it on DS while on our last flight and he couldn't even manage that with weight in it :).  I vote for pre-K size!

    Our pack is the Fairfax preschool backpack (had to check site for name!).

    We don't have one, but strictly based on what the ages say on the website, I would definitely go with the pre-school size!

    It says pre-school is for ages 3-5 and size small is for ages 7-9.

    I just bought this for DS a couple of weeks ago.  Here he is carrying it, if that helps with sizing.

    It's the preschool size.
