SO nervous about tomorrow

And this stupid mammogram or ultrasound or whatever they're doing to my breast. Doesn't help that DH is out of town on business. I have a girlfriend on standby in case I get really scared, but I'm seriously nervous right now.

I went in for my annual last Wednesday and the dr found a lump that I was going to mention before I even brought it up. He said he was very concerned and that he needed me to not put off getting it checked. It'll probably end up being nothing, but I'm still nervous.

I hope that everything turns out to be nothing tomorrow, even though it may take a little more time for them to give you the results. I'll be saying some prayers for you! I know that it can be extremely scary!

Some (young) women develop small "tumors" in their breasts. I had a fibro abnoma removed when I was 22 that my ob/gyn found when doing a yearly breast exam. Everything ended up being totally fine, but I can understand the worry that it can cause.

That is great that you were able to schedule an ultrasound so quickly and that you will find out the results soon. I'll be praying that everything is okay. ::hugs!::

T&Ps, for sure!!!! Take motrin beforehand (wait...you're not pg, are you?) Sorry, forgetting!!! Wish I knew you ppl IRL, so I could keep this straight. I took my mom for a couple. She was sore from the smashing, and if they biopsied it, she was a little sore from that(hence the motrin). But nothing terrible. Hope everything goes well!!!

I also have a lump. I didn't have mine removed though. I just have a yearly ultrasound so they can watch it's size and things. (also this year they want me to have a mammo -uhhh- not sure how that's going to work...nothing to squish!) I see Dr Nate T.

I've had a biopsy of it (it was not as scary as I imagined) and ultrasounds (obviously no big deal)

T & P's! I had a lump removed. My doctor got concerned about it because it had grown since my last annual well it's because my breast grew so the lump did! Anyway, ended up being nothing but be glad you have a overprotective doctor to check these things out. Good Luck!
