We took her to the pedi yesterday and he looked in her ears and said her ears are perfect. She's never had an ear infection and doesn't have one now!
The pedi did find a small hair that looked like an eyelash that was resting on her eardrum in her right ear - the same ear she was doing the shoulder thing with. He irrigated the ear and the hair came right out.
We aren't sure if that is what was bothering her or not. She hasn't done the "shrug" movement again, so we'll see.
The doctor did say that he did not think it was any kind of seizure, because she's not flinching up and it's not affecting any other part of her body... she's just touching her ear to her shoulder. He suggested that it might just be one of those funny mannerisms that toddlers do for a while, then move on to something else. We'll see.
Thanks for asking!
