I'm posting from my blackberry so sorry for bad formatting or typos. We checked into the hospital Wed night to start the cytotec. I got my water broken and pitocin first thing Thurs morning. There was meconium in my water so I had an absolute come apart (long story, I'll write ab that in my birth story later) after 5 hours of HARD contractions with almost no pain meds (I'll post about that in my birth story later) I had still only made it to 1.5cm + 50%. They went ahead and gave me the epi since I was hurting so bad and it was pretty obvious I was heading for a c-sec. I labored for another hour to see if the relaxation of the epi wold help...no change. I asked for 1 more hour and there was still no change. At 1:00 my c-sec was scheduled for 30 min later. At 2:00 pm Madeline Elizabeth was born. 7lb 13oz and 20 in long. She's so beautiful and we are so in love already. I don't know how to post pics from BB so find me on FB (although I only have a couple of BB pics up sp far) my last name is Kilgo. Hopefully I'll get my full birth story written soon.
