1st Trimester
Ppl I work with are really pissing me off
Ugh, I'm not ready to tell anyone yet, I'm just not. Apparently I must really be showing becuase EVERYONE is speculating, yet no one will ask me straight out. The reason I know is because I told my friend (a co-worker) and people keep saying things to her about it. She keeps telling them that she doesn't know, but it's just annoying to me that people have to speculate and not just ask. This is a stupid vent, I know...my hormones are REALLLLLLY out of wack!!

I completely agree!! For some reason it REALLY annoys me to know that people are gossiping and speculating--I just want to scream "Mind your own business!"
When I got pg with DD and told my employees they all said 'oh, we already knew, we figured it out weeks ago." Seriously, clearly people don't have enough work to do if they have enough time to wonder about my pregnancy status.
how about, i have been asked at leat once a week at work since my husband & i were married .... in the beginning of 2009!! and i only work 3 days a week!!
i am an rn & of course work w/ docs, many of whom are my friends, but still, i try to keep it professional....one doc put his hand on my (flat) abdomen this week, and asked if i'm pregnant yet? i said no, but i am (and i hate lying under any circumstance).
i am 8 weeks now, but i'd rather not announce it until the 2nd tri....plus, for those who phrased the question as "are you trying?" why not just ask if we are having sex w/ or without protection??
but, no, that would be rude.
