Texas Babies

***Dawnzer***

Hey girl! Reese is in the same class as your daughter :) I took her there to do a meet and greet yesterday and today and I clicked that she was your daughter :)

Reese starts on Monday. I'm nervous but was very happy they let me come visit for a bit the last two days. I even stepped out of the class for about 5 min and she never cried!! THANK GOODNESS!!!

See you around! I know she will be bumping up soon. Reese will switch again in 3 months.

Re: ***Dawnzer***

  • LOL - for a couple of weeks anyway.  Mrs Kathy said she is looking to transition Sarah and Ethan the week of the 24th (I think there is one more going into that class).  Hard to believe Sarah is nearly a year and a half!!!

They keep them pretty busy in there... not a lot of time for crying! =)   Reese should sleep well next week!  You are really going to love Concordia - all the teachers are great.

I am pretty excited for Sarah to move to the next class - they start working on self feeding skills (spoon and fork), take them off the sippy cup to a cup without a lid, and start getting them ready for potty training by changing them in the restroom and washing hands in there, etc.  I am told they basically wear smocks for lunch instead of bibs. =)

  • Loading the player...
  • oh... and did you put Emma on the waiting list?  The fee is waived if there is already a sibling attending, but the wait is even longer for the infant room, so you want to do it ASAP.  When I signed up Jacob they already had a wait of about 7 months for this fall!
  • No I havent signed Emma up yet, didnt think the wait would be LONGER! Geez. Thanks for all the info!! Reese can already use a fork, wish they let them try in this age group. LOL at the smock!! Are there 2 classes for the next age group too?
  • I am pretty sure there are two classes - it was a big deal to move Ethan and Sarah together (they have been together since the infant room and are best buds).

You may want to let Ms. Linda know Reese already uses a fork, I am sure they will give her one if they know.  I am pretty sure they have been giving a spoon to Sarah, they just don't work with them as much as the next class.

If you sign up Emma soon you should be fine.  You still have to be on the waiting list, but kids with siblings already enrolled get priority over new students.

  • Awesome! I will tell Ms. Linda. I need Emma to start there when she's 5 months b/c thats when my clinicals start. So hopefully I can get her in by then! I will sign her up on Monday when I pick up Reese (i'm making DH drop her off...)  :'(
