What makes jewelry "fertility jewelry"?

I've been seeing a lot of advertisements/info on fertility bracelets lately.  I looked some up online, and they're all different, with different beads and different charms.  I guess I just assumed that they would have similar beads or something!   I thought about making my own, but I just didn't know what defined something as a "fertility bracelet"?

Any input is appreciated!

    LMFAO! You are too funny Jen.  I agree I have no idea what is up with fertility bracelets.  I have looked them up also and find tons of different stones as well as tons of different meanings for each stone.

    for much of fertility jewelry, it's based on the perceived power of a particular stone. For example, Tigers Eye is supposed to be GREAT for TTCing. Also I think rose quartz...there are a few but in my research Tigers Eye seems to be the most "ttc-like"---if you believe in THE POWER OF STONESSSSSSSSSSSSS (echoing continued throughout post, ala James Earl Jones.)
