We cannot agree on anything. Mostly DH hates anything I come up with. We would like to use Dean as the middle name, it is a family name on both sides, but we do agree that it doesn't go with everything we come up with so it could change.
For the past 3 months we've had a short list of Mason, Lucas and Grady. Lucas being his favorite and Grady being mine. We both don't love Mason, but it's one of very few we are ok with. All of a sudden he says he really wants to name our son Bo. I told him there is no way.. especially with our last name. So now he is ruling out Grady for whatever reason. I know we still have a month left, but I feel like we're never going to agree.
We've also thought about Warren. Which is his grandfathers name who passed away last year. I like the name, just not sure for a baby or child.
So.. I need some more suggestions. I feel like I've exhausted the search. DH likes more traditional names.. while I like a little more trendy/different names. But who knows when it comes down to it. Our last name makes things hard also.. no A names or anything ending in A or AY.
Re: Baby names. Help.
well those are all awesome names imo! ha!
what about Grayson? does he like that?? still has the ... 's' and the 'gray' ... :-?
I think all 3 of the names you have on your short list are teh perfect mix of traditional yet not common names!
what about wade?
ETA: NM - doesnt go with Dean anyhow.
While Warren may be more of an adult name...we need to remember that our babies wont be little forever! DH and I are playing with the name Allie, but are worried its too youthful.
I like both Lucas and Mason with Dean as a MN.

My solution to when DH's can't jump on board is that Mom gets the final say- seeing as she's the one growing the new person, as well as going through untold hell to get said person into the world. Mom vote trumps Dad vote when it comes down to it.
For the record, I like Lucas and Mason with Dean- Bo Dean is just bad on so many levels- remind him that he's naming a PERSON, not a baby, please! lol
I think Mason Dean sounds good together.
My cousin's name is Robert, but he goes by Beau (pronounced 'Bo').
