Okay, so while we were TTC, I stalked many boards, in preparation of the pregnancy. One comment I read over and over again was "I hate it when people rub my bell!" And I totally understood it... I don't want random people touching me either. I thought I'd feel the same way.
However, I actually like when people (I know) rub the belly... actually, when they rub one side, or w/ one hand, I make them rub the other side, to give the other baby some lovin'! : ) Granted, the only ones that have rubbed are close family (mom, MIL, aunts), and I wouldn?t want a stranger touching me, but knowing they want to "touch" me, makes me feel the love they have for the babies already.
Am I the only crazy liking to feel like Buddha?!
Re: Belly rubbing - Am I the only one that likes it?!
Maybe that is what it is! It took me so long to get a belly, that I want to flaunt it?! LOL No se. And yeah, it would be nice to charge per rub. LOL Build up their college fund

LMAO!
Since reading all those comments in the past, and now, I don't rub others' bellies... I respect, unless they say "feel baby." But if they wish to rub mine, just make sure you give both babies fair lovin'

I don't mind people I know rubbing my belly so far. But, my bump isn't that noticeable yet, so the only ones who have rubbed it are my mom, my DH, my principal (who could be like my grandma), and some of the office aids that are super excited for me. Since they all mean well, I like it. I don't think I would like a stranger touching me since I'm not a touchy-feely person anyway. I definitely don't touch other pregnant women's bellies unless they ask me to. My personal boundaries are pretty well-defined, lol.

I actually didn't mind it too much as long as it was someone I knew. The only time it got kinda awkward is when my regional manager at the time (& was kinda weird & douchetastic) leaned over to rub my belly and I conveniantly dashed to answer the phone that was ringing LOL
Other than that one occasion, I actually loved when people showed little C some lovin

I mind. I hated when people touched my belly and she wasn't even moving enough to feel outside of my belly!! I was like srsly...wtf?!?!
Now that she kicks and hiccups I don't mind a select few (read: family) touching the belly. This ONLY happens when she is moving, otherwise it's pointless.
At my baby shower all I did was smile politely and try to get out of there when someone was OMG BELLY MUST RUB!!!! -__-() I don't get why people feel they must touch your stomach. I don't touch yours without asking?! LOL.
My husband is the only one with belly privileges from the very beginning.
