4th of July babies

If you are sending invitations for your LO's birthday party, when are you sending them out?

We are having DD's party July 3rd. Our family and close friends know the date already. I am worried that if I send them out too early people will forget, and if I wait too long they will make other plans.

What are you doing? TIA.
