I have a question for anyone who's bought baby portraits at a studio. Once you buy a sheet (for example, 2 5x7s of the same pose), if you have a scanner at home, can you just scan the image in to your computer and then print off more copies by uploading the image to walgreens or snapfish? I don't see why you couldn't but I wanted to make sure this would work ... TIA for your advice!

Re: Question about buying and reproducing baby portraits
You COULD, but it's illegal.
Not to mention scanned photos that are put online and reprinted would pretty much look like crap.
Besides the whole legal issue...who needs that right? lol You can always scan and print them yourself. It's not going to look the greatest but it eliminates the middle man (CVS, Costco, Snapfish etc)
We did this and gave out pictures to my parents and in-laws, I don't think they'll be turning us in anytime soon.
It's all good if you don't get caught.
oh, okay. I hadn't really considered that it is illegal.
I guess I just can't get over the fact that a picture of your child doesn't belong to you.
