Pediatricians

Can anyone recommend any pediatricians in the Apple Valley, Burnsville, or Lakeville area?  We need to start talking to some, but it would be nice to know if anyone has any negative or positve feedback about any in that area.  Thanks!!!

    We really like Dr.Miller at Southdale Peds (office is in Burnsville)

    I've also heard really good things about Metro Pediatrics (offices in Burnsville, Shakopee & Lakeville)

    I agree with the rec for Southdale Peds.  We usually see Dr. Mitha, but have seen just about every doc in the Burnsville office!

    Another vote for Southdale Peds!  They have a Burnsville office (right by the hospital).  In our 4+ years of going there we've seen just about everyone and, while we may like some over others, we really haven't had a negative experience there.  They have ALL sat and listened to our concerns very patiently, no matter how many patients they have waiting to be seen.

    And on top of the doctors, the nurses are fantastic, including and especially the nurse line.  I have NEVER felt dumb asking any question and somehow they've been able to sense whether I'm about to go over the edge and just need to have my child be seen--they get us in right away.  Stick out tongue

    I'll confess that we didn't interview or visit a single pediatrician.  A pedi from Southdale Peds came to our birthing class and was fantastic.  When you deliver, you get the on-call Southdale Peds pedi.  We wound up sticking with DD1's on-call pediatrician because we absolutely LOVED her!  Honestly, we probably would have taken ANY of the on-call docs because they are almost all so great.  My friend wound up choosing her kids pedi (the Edina office) the same way.

    Another Southdale Peds! We see Dr. Hanson for WBV, but have seen just about everyone there. They are all wonderful!!
