Hello,
I have never posted here but I thought you ladies could give me some ideas. My husband has a conference in Minneapolis for three days and I am thinking about going with him. I have a 3 month old and a 19 month old and I am looking for recommendations for parks, activities, etc. that I could do during the day while my husband is attending the conference. If it matters, I will have a car available while we are there.
Thanks for your help!
Re: Activites/Parks near Minneapolis
Hello, Where about in Minneapolis will you be staying? there is a really fun in door in Edina (link below) There is also the MN zoo they have a great little play area.

a fun rainy day activity is the Wild Rumpus bookstore, your 19 month old would LOVE it.
The children's museum in St Paul is fun, as is Eagle's Nest in New Brighton.
-Como Park & Zoo (free) in St Paul, about 20 min from where you will be
-The "chain of lakes". Calhoun Lake, Minneapolis- about 10 min from where you will be. Lots of paths around around the lakes to walk, parks/beaches. (although too cold to swim!)
-Science Museum of MN (maybe too much for 19 month old). about 15 min from where you will be.
-Mill City Museum. Very fun, less than 10 min from where you will be. Maybe a little too 'old' for your 19 month old?
-MN Zoo. Much larger zoo. Has baby farm animals section, which is fun for the little ones. about 30-40 minutes from where you will be
not sure what weekend you are going, but there's often some type of festival going on. You may want to check Camber events calendars to see what is going on. If you see something that looks good, feel free to come back and post it for more advice!
